I'm Jan Balaga, a Filipino who loves to read recipe books and this is my story. 

At 17 I made my very first cookies. It was burnt, hard and too salty. But that's where it all started. It stirred the curiosity in me to know the science behind of baking and cooking. Since then, I started several test bake until I made my perfect cookie recipe then move up to next level of baking. I started selling cookies, cakes, and grilled cheese in bazaars. From one more semester of finishing my Entrepreneur degree, I took a big switch to Culinary school to pursue my passion.
